What you can expect
We understand sharing your vision tends to be the most difficult and nuanced part of bringing outside support onto a project. As such we do our best to understand your goals first.
Typical projects start with emails or a phone meeting to get an initial understanding of the project as a whole. This includes your overall goals for the project, budgets and other constraints.
From there we establish an understanding of what services need to be rendered, and provide a cost estimate for design and manufacture.
During the design process we usually have 2-3 meetings. This can vary from person to person. Often this meeting is in person or via video call. The first meeting typically expands on the specifics of the initial meeting and emails. This can include more details of design specifics, measurements, and obtaining product part numbers that you intend to use or need to integrate with. For example; if you want to use a particular brand of light, dimmer, boost controller, inverter, stereo, etc. We'll need to know about it for seamless integration.
The next meeting will usually be an initial design review. In this meeting we will outline the overall system and routing in its rough draft form. This will allow you to evaluate the design and make changes as needed. For example; a fire extinguisher may now be located in an area the wires were planned to run and changes will be needed. In this meeting we make final decisions on the products that we integrate with. This often includes purchasing or alternate options due to previously unforeseen issues like availability or compatibility.
Typically the final meeting is a showcase of the design in detail which takes into account the specific products used, including operation and documentation. Usually this meeting is only a formality and summarizes the changes already discussed in the previous meeting. This serves as the formal verification before we begin manufacturing the harness.
Final Delivery!
This is the most fun. If we are performing the installation, We'll be on onsite with our equipment wiring and validating. Once that's complete, we go over the system operation, test it out and push all the buttons with you.
If you are performing the installation yourself, we normally offer email support. We do offer phone/video support on request or for special circumstances but we can't stay awake 24/7.
The reality of it is, these systems are complex. If you need support, send us an email or give us a call. We might not be available right away but we will do our best to work with you as soon as possible.
We are working to expand our website to showcase the projects and products we are making available.
